Nico Rosberg: “It’s always a great battle against Lewis”
For the fourth time in succession and for the eighth time in 2014, the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS team locked out the front row of the grid, and it was Nico Rosberg who took top spot ahead of Lewis Hamilton for the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka.
Rosberg took his eighth pole position of the season and the twelfth of his career, and believed it was one of the best qualifying sessions he has had in 2014 so far. He feels prepared for the race come rain or shine, and admits to loving battling with his team-mate.
