Power problem leaves Massa 18th in qualifying

+ Felipe Massa was left rueing a missed opportunity in Sochi after a loss of power saw him eliminated in the opening part of qualifying. Massa experienced a loss of power from his Mercedes-powered Williams in the closing minutes of Q1 and ultimately failed to clear the drop zone, finishing the opening part of qualifying for the inaugural Russia Grand Prix just 18th, behind Marcus Ericsson’s Caterham.
