Chilton: 'we all deserved so much more from today’s race'

October 12th, 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Max Chilton says the team deserved better than a retirement in Russia following a difficult week for Marussia. On Friday morning Marussia announced that they would only run Chilton’s car in Russia out of respect for Jules Bianchi who remains in hospital in Japan in a stable, but critical condition. Chilton started from 20th place and was forced to retire on lap 10 after feeling there was a problem with the front left of the car. “After an incredibly tough week for everyone in the team, we all deserved so much more from today’s race,” said...
