Increased title lead offers no comfort for Hamilton

Sutton Images Enlarge Lewis Hamilton says his 17-point lead in the drivers' championship will not change his approach to the final three races of the season. Four victories at the last four races have seen Hamilton take and extend the lead in his tense title battle with Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg. However, with 100 points still up for grabs (25 each for victories at the US and Brazilian Grands Prix and 50 for the double-points finale in Abu Dhabi) the championship is likely to go down to the wire.
