Outgoing Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has confirmed on Italian TV that Fernando Alonso will be leaving the team at the end of the season, appearing to make way for defending world champion Sebastian Vettel. Although the team is yet to formally confirm that Alonso will be leaving at the end of the year, his decision has been known for some time in the paddock following a severe deterioration of his relationship with the team.
