Montezemolo confirms Alonso Ferrari departure

Fernando Alonso will be leaving Ferrari at the end of the season according to former president Luca Di Montezemolo. Although yet to confirm his plans for next year, reports regarding Alonso's departure from the prancing horse outfit have been circulating the paddock since the Japanese Grand Prix. However, in an interview with Italian television, Montezemolo confirmed that the double world champion will exit the team in search of a new challenge. “Alonso is leaving for two reasons: One, he wants another environment.
