Pirelli agrees to bring softer compounds to Brazil

Pirelli's original plan had been to bring hard and medium Getty Images Enlarge Related Links In Focus: Tyres Pirelli has agreed to bring softer tyre compounds to the Brazilian Grand Prix after calls from some drivers that the original selection of hard and medium would not work. Felipe Massa called the original selection dangerous, arguing the hardest two compounds in Pirelli's range were not suited to the Interlagos circuit, especially with a newly laid surface this year. Pirelli boss Paul Hembery said his company would consider Massa's comments and after a meeting that involved the unanimous agreement of the teams has decided to bring the medium and soft compounds instead....
