Hakkinen: McLaren-Honda partnership needs time to flourish

Two-time Formula 1 world champion Mika Hakkinen believes that McLaren and Honda will not immediately enjoy success upon the renewal of their partnership in 2015. The Finn instead thinks that it will take some time before the fruit of their labours show, as to be expected with any new engine partner at a team. After six years out of Formula 1, Honda will return in 2015 exclusively as McLaren's engine supplier, reviving their famous partnership from the late 1980s and early '90s with Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost behind the wheel.
