Liverpool hospital honours Prof Sid Watkins
The specialist neuroscience hospital, The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust, has named a facility in honour of F1 'doc' Professor Sid Watkins.The neurosurgeon from Liverpool, who passed away in 2012, and was at the forefront of Formula One safety for more than 30 years, has been given a permanent tribute in the naming of a new Merseyside hospital building.'The Prof' has been recognised by specialist neuroscience hospital The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust, with the naming of the Sid Watkins Building.
