Brawn, Domenicali join FIA accident panel

Former Mercedes and Ferrari team principals Ross Brawn and Stefano Domenicali are among a group of senior motorsport members which have joined an FIA Accident Panel, which will investigate Jules Bianchi's crash at the Japanese Grand Prix. Bianchi remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital, 15 days after he sustained a diffuse axonal injury at Suzuka. The FIA is pushing on with its investigation and is adamant that lessons must be learned. It has therefore formed an Accident Panel, which will look into the causes of Bianchi's crash and will recommend any potential changes to the FIA at the next meeting of the World Motor Sport Council, which takes place in Qatar in December.
