Ferrari tests more 2015 parts after lessons learnt in 2014

Sutton Images Enlarge Ferrari insists it has learned a lesson from its mistakes this year and will test some 2015 solutions on its car at this weekend's US Grand Prix. Under the new downsized and turbocharged engine rules this year, Ferrari has been a long way off the pace of rivals Mercedes and is in danger of finishing as low as fifth in the constructors' championship if it does not score well at the final three rounds. Ferrari knowingly sacrificed some power from its V6 turbo in order to boost aerodynamic performance, but ended up lacking in both areas compared to this year's champions Mercedes.
