Qualifying revised for Austin

With only 18 cars contesting this weekend's United States GP, the FIA have tweaked qualifying with just four cars dropping out in each of the first two sessions. Neither Caterham nor Marussia are in America this weekend as both teams have been placed under administration due to financial troubles. That means just 18 cars will line up at the Circuit of the Americas this weekend, the smallest grid since 2005. As a result the FIA have tweaked qualifying and instead of six cars being eliminated in Q1 and a further six in Q2, just four will drop out in each of those sessions. The final ten will go into Q3 in the pole position shoot-out.
