Vettel confirms Red Bull blocked early contract exit

+ Sebastian Vettel has confirmed that his Red Bull team blocked his chance of an early release from his contract. Red Bull announced ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix that Vettel would be leaving the team with which he has won four drivers’ titles at the end of the year, with Daniil Kvyat confirmed as his replacement. Vettel is expected to join Ferrari, replacing Fernando Alonso, but neither party has yet confirmed the deal. Whatever the case, Vettel will not be released from his Red Bull contract until after the post-season test at Abu Dhabi, meaning he will have to wait until next year before he can run for his potential new team. “First of all I'm looking forward to the race here,”...
