Webber urges Button to leave F1

Mark Webber has urged out-of-contract Jenson Button to leave Formula 1 and embark upon a career in sportscars. The former Red Bull Racing driver, who retired from F1 last year to join Porsche’s return to top flight sportscar racing, responded to a message on Twitter from the 2009 world champion. Webber issued a reply encouraging Button to leave F1 and join him in the FIA World Endurance Championship. “Matey just sign that sports car contract and get on with it. Be mega to have you with/against us next year.#greatracing #JB22,” said Webber via Twitter.
