Former F1 driver Philippe Streiff has told French media that Michael Schumacher is confined to a wheelchair and cannot speak. Streiff, who raced for Renault, Ligier, Tyrrell and AGS in the 1980s, was interviewed on radio in his native France, giving his assessment of Schumacher’s condition. The now 45-year-old German suffered massive head injuries when he fell off-piste at the Meribel ski resort in France last December. “He is getting better but everything is relative,” said Streiff.
