Ferrari has officially confirmed that Fernando Alonso will leave the team after the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday ending a partnership that lasted for five years. Alonso, 33, had a contract with Ferrari till the end of the 2016 season but after five fruitless years at Maranello the Spaniard's agreement was ended prematurely.
