Marussia fail in late Abu Dhabi bid

id="story_continues_1" itemprop="description"> A late bid to get Marussia to the final grand prix of the season in Abu Dhabi this weekend has failed. A fortnight ago administrators said the Banbury-based team had ceased trading with the loss of 200 jobs. Talks have been ongoing with potential investors in the hope Marussia could take their place on the grid at the Yas Marina circuit. But negotiations have broken down and it is now too late for them to take part in the event.
