Alonso concedes missing FP2 a huge blow

Fernando Alonso admits missing FP2 is set to make the rest of his Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend very difficult. On his second lap in the afternoon session, Alonso parked his Ferrari exiting Turn 19 and didn't return to the track. With qualifying and the race taking place at 1700 local time, FP2 is the only session to take place in the same conditions and Alonso conceded he would not be well prepared when taking to the track in qualifying. “It was a real shame losing the opportunity to take part in the second free practice session here at Yas Marina, as it's the only chance to get an idea of how things will really go this weekend,” Alonso said. “On my second lap, the car just stopped...
