Magnussen – Abu Dhabi not a McLaren shoot-out for 2015

+ Kevin Magnussen does not believe the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will serve as a shoot-out for McLaren to decide on its driver line-up for next season. Magnussen and his team-mate Jenson Button enter the final round of the season uncertain if they will be retained by the team for 2015. Fernando Alonso is expected to rejoin the Woking-based squad, which he left after a turbulent single season in 2007, with Magnussen or Button retained alongside him. The Danish rookie was third fastest on Friday around the Yas Marina Circuit, but he does not believe McLaren’s final driver decision will be settled at the final race. “It is difficult to say if it would make a difference in this matter,”...
