Bird claims Malaysia victory

Sutton Images Enlarge Sam Bird became Formula E's second ever winner after recording a dominant victory on the Putrajaya street circuit in Malaysia. Virgin Racing's Bird made two key passes for victory, first on pole-sitter Oriol Servia on a lap four safety car restart and then on Daniel Apt after the pit stop window. Lucas di Grassi, winner of Formula E's inaugural race, finished second to maintain his lead in the championship, with newly-crowned WEC champion Sebastian Buemi rounding off the podium.
