Alonso counters Mattiacci's Friday rebuttal
+ Fernando Alonso has hit back at comments made by Ferrari team principal Marco Mattiacci ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Mattiacci flooded four-time champion Sebastian Vettel with praise during Friday’s FIA press conference, singling out the German’s hard-working nature and discipline ahead of his move to the team in 2015.
At the same time the Italian said that Ferrari’s fresh start next season was something he wanted to be taken up with motivation and commitment, in a vague dig at Alonso, who will leave the team at the end of the season.
