Alonso anger at Ferrari 'lack of motivation' blast

ABU DHABI, Nov 22, 2014 (AFP) - Fernando Alonso on Saturday hit back at suggestions from Ferrari team chief Marco Mattiacci that he had lacked motivation and commitment. Mattiacci had told reporters at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix that Ferrari had chosen to sign four-time champion Sebastian Vettel, who replaces two-time champion Alonso next year, because they wanted a driver "with the utmost motivation and commitment." Mattiacci added: "I'm sure he will bring the phenomenal experience that he went through Red Bull and the enthusiasm needed to go through certain difficult moments that are waiting for us."
