Red Bulls to start from pit lane

Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo will both start the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from the pit lane after changing front wings. The two Red Bull drivers were excluded from qualifying after the FIA technical delegate found that their front wing flaps were designed to flex under aerodynamic load. While the team originally stated its intention to start from the back of the grid, it has now changed the front wings in question which leads to a pit lane start. "Although the team carried out work with the approval of the Technical Delegate, parts have been replaced on car 1 (and car 3) that are different to those originally used," the FIA stewards decision read.
