Bottas top; slow start for McLaren-Honda

Valtteri Bottas edged Kimi Raikkonen, the McLaren-Honda debut was brief while Max Verstappen crashed on an action-packed opening day of testing in Abu Dhabi. Although some of F1's big guns - including newly crowned World Champion Lewis Hamilton, the teamless Fernando Alonso, Ferrari new recruit Sebastian Vettel and Jenson Button - were missing, the likes of Nico Rosberg and Kimi Raikkonen were in action. Williams showed once again why they claimed a double podium in the final race on Sunday and finished third in the Constructors' standings with Valtteri Bottas' 1:43.396, which was set late in the afternoon, topping the timesheets.
