Valtteri Bottas edged Kimi Raikkonen, the McLaren-Honda debut was brief while Max Verstappen crashed on an action-packed opening day of testing in Abu Dhabi. Although some of F1's big guns - including newly crowned World Champion Lewis Hamilton, the teamless Fernando Alonso, Ferrari new recruit Sebastian Vettel and Jenson Button - were missing, the likes of Nico Rosberg and Kimi Raikkonen were in action.
