Wehrlein enjoys 'fun' test outing for Mercedes
Pascal Wehrlein says he enjoyed a 'fun' second outing in Formula 1 machinery on Wednesday in Abu Dhabi, after testing for Mercedes.
The DTM driver topped the timesheets by half a second and completed 96 laps after a trouble-free day. It was his first time driving the championship-winning W05 Hybrid.
The Mercedes reserve driver had a busy programme to get through. It included aero runs, Pirelli 2015 tyre testing and set-up work.
'I really enjoyed today; it was a great day,' he said. 'The first time in this car and the second time in a Formula 1 car; I had a lot of fun.
