Force India switches to Toyota wind tunnel

Getty Images Enlarge Force India has announced it will switch its aerodynamic testing to Toyota's wind tunnel from 2015 onwards, halting the use of its own facility in Brackley. The team will upgrade to the 60% scale wind tunnel in Cologne, Germany, which has been used for testing by Caterham in 2014. Team boss Vijay Mallya believes the switch is crucial in Force India's aspirations to continue moving up the grid. "The decision to use Toyota's facility in Cologne is indicative of our ambitions to continue as a competitive force in Formula One," Mallya said.
