Kobayashi to test Super Formula car

Sutton Images Enlarge Kamui Kobayashi is set to test a Super Formula car in his native Japan next week for Toyota Motor Sports. He drove for Caterham in F1 this season, but with the team still searching for a buyer to take it forward and no guarantees of a race drive if it succeeds, Kobayashi will likely drive outside F1 next year. Super Formula is the top single seater category in Japan, made up of a field of high-performance Dallara-built cars powered by either Toyota or Honda engines. Koabayshi will test a Toyota-powered car at the series' rookie test at Okayama Circuit on December 10th and 11th, although it is not yet clear whether it will lead to a race drive in 2015.
