Steve Nielsen has joined the Williams F1 Team as sporting director following his resignation from Toro Rosso just last week, where he held the same position. The British engineer will be "responsible for the overall management and operation of the race team specifically relating to sporting matters and ensuring the compliance and implementation of these directives," according to the team.
