Esteban Gutierrez joins Ferrari as reserve driver

Scuderia Ferrari has today announced that Esteban Gutierrez has joined the team as a reserve driver for the 2015 Formula 1 season. Gutierrez made his F1 debut in 2013 with Sauber, but was dropped after two seasons with just six points to his name, making way for Felipe Nasr and Marcus Ericsson. In Abu Dhabi, he felt certain that he would still be in the F1 paddock next season as a reserve driver, preferring to take up a backroom role with a bigger team to give himself a chance of reclaiming a full-time seat in 2016.
