The Force Awakens: Can Perez and Hulkenberg lead Force India up the grid in 2015?

2014 was something of a breakthrough year for Force India. After years of fighting in the lower echelons of the midfield, Vijay Mallya’s squad finally appeared to find its feet and puff out its chest in the crusade against the front-runners in Formula 1. It may have finished sixth in the constructors’ championship once again, but you can argue that without Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso, McLaren and Ferrari may well have lost out to Force India. Fourth was certainly a possibility. Much of the team’s power lay in the line-up of Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg, two drivers who are both capable of an upset on their day.
