Vettel considered quitting F1 in 2014 – Horner

+ Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has admitted that four-time champion Sebastian Vettel considered quitting Formula 1 last year. Vettel claimed four consecutive drivers’ titles between 2010 and 2013, but struggled during the first year of Formula 1’s new turbo engine regulations. He failed to win a race for the first time since his maiden half-season in 2007, and was soundly beaten by his younger team-mate Daniel Ricciardo, eventually opting to leave Red Bull to join Ferrari for 2015. The German is set to debut Ferrari’s 2015 car at Jerez on Sunday, but Horner says there was a stage last season when a disillusioned Vettel considered whether he even wanted to continue racing...
