+ Nico Rosberg set the pace for Mercedes on the second day of the final pre-season test in Barcelona, as McLaren racked up the mileage. Rosberg dominated the timesheets with a lap of 1:22.792 – the best time set at the Circuit de Catalunya during testing – recorded on a set of the soft Pirelli tyres in the late afternoon. The 2014 runner-up ended the day with 106 laps on the board, and 1.2 seconds clear of Valtteri Bottas at the top of the leaderboard as Mercedes flexed its muscle.
