Hamilton went to the top of the timesheets in the afternoon session with a 1:23.022, 0.240s quicker than Felipe Massa's best time on the super-soft tyre in the morning. Mercedes missed out on a couple hours of running around lunch as it embarked on experimental set-up changes, meaning Hamilton completed just 76 laps on his final day in the car.
