Hamilton explains decision to keep #44

– World Champion Lewis Hamilton says he chose to keep #44 as his car number for the upcoming season as it "means more to me" than #1.Formula 1 drivers were asked ahead of the 2014 campaign to pick permanent car numbers, between #2 to #99, for the remainder of their Grand Prix careers.Hamilton earned the right to switch to #1 after winning last year's title, but the Mercedes driver later confirmed that he would be sticking with his personal number. At the end of his final day of pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the Briton outlined the reasons behind his decision."Everyone can use #1 if they win a championship, but it's irrelevant for me,"...
