Only two pre-season tests in 2016

Sutton Images Enlarge The number of pre-season tests will be cut from three to two next year according to the latest FIA Sporting Regulations. This year teams took part in three four-day tests in Spain - one in Jerez and two at the Circuit de Catalunya outside Barcelona. However, just two pre-season tests will be permitted in 2016 that must take place between February 1 and a ten-day period before the start of the season. Assuming teams split the test days equally between the two drivers, it will mean just four days in the car for each driver before the first race of the season. Speaking about this year's tests, Nico Rosberg said time is already tight for drivers to get back up to speed....
