Weekend deadline for German Grand Prix

– Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone says that the future of the German Grand Prix needs to be resolved by this weekend, ahead of the start of the new season.This year's race was set to take place at the Nürburgring but the circuit does not yet hold a contract to host the event.Nürburgring and Hockenheim have shared hosting duties of the German Grand Prix since 2008 in a bid to ease the financial burden on both circuits, but a return to the Nürburgring for 2015 has not yet been confirmed.Ecclestone hinted a month ago that Hockenheim was a more likely venue for this year's race but is now doubtful that any deal can be agreed."Certainly by this weekend," Ecclestone said...
