Grosjean loses grid position for pit lane infraction

Romain Grosjean has been demoted from eighth to tenth on the grid for the second round of the 2015 Malaysian Grand Prix after being punished for a pit lane infraction. The Frenchman was due to start from his best grid slot since Spain 2014 in the Lotus, but stewards would pull him up on 'failing to leave the pit lane in the order of his arrival' (overtaking). The penalty will see him dropped to tenth on the grid, with Valtteri Bottas and Marcus Ericsson ascending a position as a result, though the man himself was pleased with his qualifying effort. “We had never driven with wets on the car before so it was a bit of a discovery mission but everything was good.
