‘Stupid’ criticism end after Verstappen’s first two Grand Prix – Toro Rosso boss

The young rookie Max Verstappen, 17, became the youngest point’s scorer in the sport’s history with an impressive seventh-place finish for Malaysian Grand Prix. Toro Rosso F1 team principal Franz Tost believes that 'stupid people' who criticised Max Verstappen as too young for F1 will have been silenced by his first two grand’s prix. Before the season kickoff, many F1 people said, Max is too young for Formula 1 at just 17. The teenager, son of former driver Jos, served his racing apprenticeship in karting and then won ten races in European Formula 3 last year to earn himself a shot at the big time.
