Productive opening day in Sakhir sees Nico and Lewis top the times as competition intensifies at the Bahrain International Circuit. Nico and Lewis finished line astern in both sessions - topping the times in the evening ahead of the two Ferrari drivers. The afternoon session focused on long runs and tyre evaluation, with the evening taking a more regular format of qualifying and race simulation stints.
