Button forced to miss Bahrain GP

Jenson Button has been forced to miss the fourth round of the 2015 season in Bahrain. McLaren confirmed ahead of the start that Fernando Alonso would be its sole driver in the race. Button’s MP4-30 suffered electrical problems during Friday’s two practice sessions, and failed to set a lap time in qualifying due to the on-going reliability woes. He was set to line up 20th and last on the Bahrain Grand Prix grid, but data during fire-up indicated an issue originating from his previous electrical issues. Fernando exits the garage.
