Button sets new personal best at London Marathon

Jenson Button set a new personal best in the London Marathon on Sunday, completing it in less than three hours. The McLaren driver was taking part in the 26-mile marathon around the streets of London for the first time, raising money for Cancer Research UK. Button set himself the target of beating his personal best for a marathon of 2 hours 58 minutes. He ended up going six seconds quicker on Sunday morning, setting a time of two hours, 52 minutes and 30 seconds. 'The most amazing thing is, I've done quite a bit of training but there are so many people in front of me,' he told the BBC afterwards. 'People have put in so much effort and it's actually quite emotional. It was really cool.'...
