Mercedes dominates the Friday practice at Barcelona

May 8, 2015 (GPracingplus/Jaume Ciurana) .- Many hoped this first day of free practice after a three-week break in which teams bring improvements and updates would also bring winds of change, but it seems the status quo remains the same. After today, at least in terms of the top positions are concerned thing remain the same as both Ferrari and Mercedes have dominated the two sessions. The first session featured a lack of 'grip' and many configuration issues for most teams started at 10:00 am under sunny skies and a temperature hovering around 20 degrees Celsius. Mercedes Nico Rosberg was the fastest driver with a time of 1:26.828, followed by his teammate Lewis Hamilton juts 0.07 slower....
