Daniil Kvyat is hoping that his F1 season can take a step forward after a strong qualifying run at the Monaco Grand Prix. The Russian put in a late lap to move up to fifth overall in the final phase of qualifying and will start just one spot position behind team-mate Daniel Ricciardo as Red Bull used Monaco's tortuous streets to its advantage.
