Alonso: 'Monaco finishes on Saturday afternoon'

Fernando Alonso isn't exactly feeling very optimistic ahead of Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix. The Spanish driver, having looked quite strong through FP3 & Q1, was eliminated at the start of Q2 when his car turned itself off leaving St. Devote after setting his first timed lap. Alonso qualified in 15th spot, elevated to 14th by Romain Grosjean's gearbox penalty, and he told media afterwards that he believes the team are still 'too fragile': “I don’t wish to sound pessimistic, but, in the Monaco Grand Prix, the race finishes on Saturday afternoon.
