McLaren's misery maintains momentum in Monaco

McLaren's disappointing season showed no signs of improvement Saturday at the Monaco Grand Prix as Fernando Alonso's car stalled in qualifying with an apparent electrical failure and Jenson Button missed out on qualifying inside the top 10. Button looked set to reach Q3 -- the top 10 times in qualifying -- for the first time this season until an incident involving Nico Rosberg meant he lost valuable time taking evasive action. Former powerhouse McLaren has made its worst ever start to a season following the transition back to Honda engines, with no points from five races.
