Lotus trackside operations director Alan Permane insists Romain Grosjean did not brake test Max Verstappen during the Monaco Grand Prix. The Dutch rookie was chasing down Grosjean for 10th in the closing stages of Sunday’s race when he hit the right-rear of the Frenchman’s Lotus under braking for Ste Devote, spearing his Toro Rosso into the barriers.
