Ecclestone pushing to revive Indian GP in 2016

F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone says he will do 'whatever is needed' to bring back the Indian Grand Prix in 2016. The event debuted in 2011 at the Buddh International Circuit and last appeared on the Formula 1 calendar in 2013, before its five-year contract was frozen with two races remaining. All three F1 races in India were won by four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel, driving for Red Bull Racing. Ecclestone says he is keen for the sport to return to India, but says he is waiting for a decision from the event promoter Jaypee Group. 'I hope we have a race in India next year.
