Celebrating the 40th podium of his career, Felipe Massa says he put his experience to good use in keeping Sebastian Vettel behind him. Although he trailed the Ferrari in the opening stint of the Austrian GP, Massa moved up to third when Vettel ran into trouble during a pit stop. The German, who emerged seconds behind the Williams, slowly but surely closed the gap which made for an exciting final few laps. However, putting his years of experience to good use, Massa kept Vettel at bay and raced to third place. The P3 marked Massa's 40th visit to the F1 podium.
