Nico Rosberg ended the Austrian in-season F1 test as the fastest man, setting the fastest lap in what became a very productive day for all runners present. The initially damp morning session was topped by Valtteri Bottas, however times didn't matter much, as even the Williams driver was busy focusing on aerodynamic validation for his team. The busiest man of the day was Marco Wittmann. After a slow start to getting used to the car, he gradually upped his pace and finished the day 4th fastest.
