Mercedes end in-season testing on top again

Nico Rosberg ended the final day at the Red Bull Ring with the fastest time as the in-season testing programme ended on Wednesday. The Mercedes AMG PETRONAS driver, who won the Austrian Grand Prix at the circuit last Sunday, set a best time of 1m09.113s on a far more productive day for all the teams following Tuesday’s running being affected heavily by the weather. Eight of the nine runners on Wednesday completed 100 or more laps of the Austrian circuit, with only Valtteri Bottas of the Williams Martini Racing team not breaking into three figures.
